Google access tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they are stored, and used only to fetch your data for the modules and schedules you set up. Never sold or shared.
Disconnect any time
Revoke any connection from your AIORadar settings, or from your Google account, whenever you like. The AI Overview tracker works with no Google connection at all.
Common questions
- Is it safe to connect Google Search Console to AIORadar?
- Search Console connects with Google’s read-only scope, so AIORadar can view your search analytics but cannot change anything in the property. You approve the scope on Google’s own consent screen, the tokens are encrypted before they are stored, and you can disconnect at any time.
- What permissions do Google connections request?
- AIORadar requests read-only reporting scopes for Search Console and GA4. Google shows the requested permissions during authorization. Connections are optional and can be removed from AIORadar settings.
- Can AIORadar change my Search Console or Google Analytics data?
- No. Both connections use Google’s read-only scopes (webmasters.readonly and analytics.readonly), which do not allow adding, editing or deleting anything in your property, settings or data.
- Does connecting Google Business Profile let AIORadar change my listing?
- Only where you tell it to, and only in three places. Google publishes a single management scope for Business Profile data, so this connection — unlike Search Console and GA4, which are strictly read-only — is not read-only. AIORadar uses it to read your listing and to write back the description, website, and phone changes you confirm on screen. - How do I revoke AIORadar’s access to my Google account?
- Disconnect the service from Settings in AIORadar, which deletes the stored tokens, or remove AIORadar from the third-party connections page of your Google Account. Either way, access stops immediately.
- Does AIORadar use my Google data to train AI models?
- No. AIORadar does not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models, and its use of data from Google APIs follows Google’s API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Do I need Google Search Console or GA4?
- Both are optional. Search Console adds query, page, click, impression, CTR, and position data. GA4 adds organic and recognized AI referral visits and conversions. Google AI Overview tracking can be used without either connection.
